Template email signatures

Put a call to action in your email signature: do this now

It’s still important that we do this even when the survey has gone live. The more organisations encouraging responses the better. You could add something simple into your email signature such as:

[example 1: embedded website link] I support the Big Advice Survey, listening to what the public has to say about our services. Sign up here

[example 2: visible website link] I support the Big Advice Survey, listening to what the public has to say about our services. You can get involved too: https://bigadvicesurvey.org.uk/

Or, rather than linking to this website you could link other organisations directly to the sign up form, using this link: http://eepurl.com/7jKHb

Link to the survey in your website enquiry or contact forms: do this when the survey goes live (1st December)

Roland at Bexley suggested this first one – a great little but effective idea to flag up the survey to people who eg contact you for advice via a form on your website. If you give advice by email, when the client completes the form on your website amend your completion page by inserting a link to the survey after the usual message. Alternatively, it could just feature as a response to someone completing an online contact form

It could read something like:

[example 3] Thank you for your enquiry, we will be in touch in X days. We are currently looking at advice services in [area] and would really appreciate your views on the future of services like ours. Can you complete a short survey? https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BigAdviceSurvey

It would be good to hear anyone else’s ideas or suggestions – let me know so I can share them with everyone or leave a comment below
